Track cycling is fast, tactical and mercilessly precise - but there is often a much bigger story behind success on the track. One of them begins in Denmark - with an idea, a lot of courage and a clear vision: a track cycling team independent of the national team.
A team with a mission
The idea for the team was born out of a real need: Anders Fynbo, a former rider for an Irish track cycling team, realized how few opportunities there were for track cyclists outside the national teams. Especially in Denmark.
Instead of resigning himself to this, he developed a concept together with the Danish club Cykling Odense: an independent Danish track cycling team. Today, the team is part of the club, which has one of only two velodrome tracks in the entire country - and therefore offers the perfect training base. The aim: to give young talents a platform to develop and show themselves - and those who have what it takes should make it to the top.

The recent team presentation was the starting signal - and a strong signal to the scene: a professional environment for talented youngsters is being created here that has never existed in Denmark before.

Denmark's first independent track cycling team
The team is a real novelty. There are only a few track cycling teams in the world that do not run directly through the association - Track Team Denmark is therefore not only a pioneer, but also a magnet for ambitious riders. So it's no wonder that more than half of the riders are now part of the Danish national team.
And the attention? It comes all by itself. The media report, the scene watches. Because it's clear: something big is happening here.

That's how Track Team Denmark was born. And it was clear right from the start: when you break new ground, you need partners who go along with you. Who not only deliver, but understand. Who are flexible when others remain rigid. And who deliver quality that you can rely on - race after race, training after training. This is exactly where CUORE comes into play.
More than just a supplier
For Ian Millennium, board member of Cykling Odense, CUORE was a personal conviction. Having lived in Kirchzarten, the location of CUORE's EU office, for several years, he knows the brand and the people behind it - and knew what he would recommend to his team.
“CUORE wasn't just a manufacturer for us. It was a real collaboration right from the start. Communication is straightforward, implementation is fast and, above all, flexible. Our drivers love the products,” says Ian.

Full speed ahead
The plans for the future are as ambitious as they are realistic. In the summer, they will be traveling across Europe to international competitions. In winter, the goal is clear: to win everything possible. And in the long term? The European Track Cycling Championships are firmly in sight.
What excites us at CUORE about this team? The spirit. The courage. And the will to do things differently - without compromising on quality, performance and team spirit.
